Arlo Pro user manual talks to Wi-Fi interference as a problem. Can an Arlo Pro base station and cameras be installed in a home with an existing Wi-Fi network?

The boffins at netgear have decided that because most people will put their base station right next to their wifi router, the best way to reduce interference is to be on the same channel as the wifi. For most of us, that doesn't make much sense as being on a non-overlapping channel would seem to be a better idea. But your base station will generally follow your router channel around and because most of my devices now run on a 5GHz band, I haven't noticed any interference issues

According to my wifi scanner the Arlo base hops around on all channels regardless of what your 2.4 router is on.

I've had my base mere inches away from a high-powered router since forever with no issues. I just let it do what it does.
