Camera Will Not Sync - Is It A Bad Battery?

I have a Pro camera that will not Sync.  When tried it gives me two amber flashes about every 15 seconds.  Also I plugged it in thinking it needed charging, but got nothing, no lights, never got to solid blue. Any ideas?

Pull battery and with Original cable/ac adapter run camera and try to sync
