Battery draining quick. Should be lasting 2-3 months? Never went more than 10 days.

So I've had these cameras for a couple months now. They work pretty good on them other than the fact that I haven't gone more than 10 days without having to recharge the battery in the camera I have in the front facing the Road. Is there a reason that the charges so bad. When I bought them the guy said that it should last anywhere from two to three months before having to be recharged. Would appreciate any help.

Spec battery life is for <5 minutes per day of total time used for recording and live viewing. What's your average over time? An issue that many folks have when initially installing the cameras is positioning them to see way too much scene. You don't need the sky and street in most cases so tilt the camera down to see only your sidewalk or driveway, remembering that people can only be detected out to ~25 feet. Post screenshots for suggestions.
