Hi

Was considering using two Arlo pros on outside to trigger inside lights using IFTTT and hue lights, and was going to use another camera inside at night triggered to set siren but only using audio detection, not motion so that I won't set it off. Is the audio trigger good for this (only triggers because of really loud sounds like glass breaking)?

Thanks for your help!

That would be something you'd have to test... I do know the sound is activated by loud blowing wind at times.. but I have not played adjusting the sense level for this... Also if a bird is close and starts to let out a loud song.

Glass is a whole diff thing, tho I could see it working better if the cam was inside of a quiet home

This is a easy test you could do at home..ie noise levels vs sense levels to trigger event

thanks! Sounds like it is not specifically a glass break detector, instead just a general audio detector
