Arlo wireless camera placed in window filming out

Hello,  I just bought the ARLO Wireless Pro with 4 cameras.  I placed all 4 cameras inside windows pointing out. I thought they were working but someone just came up to the house passing by 2 cameras and no images were captured by either camera.  I checked the settings and both cameras are on, the status says live, mode is armed. Whats wrong?  Kindly help.

The wireless cameras use PIR detectors. Glass blocks the IR needed for motion detection. You'll need to mount them outdoors or consider the Q cameras which use a different detection scheme which works through glass.
