I have two Arlo Pro base stations registered to different email account with five Arlo Pro cameras connected to each. Accounts have been accessed by unauthorized household members and videos deleted. I access them mostly via IPad IOS app and also have phone access available but rarely use it.

I have changed passwords to the accounts and passcode to iPad many times but cannot always be looking around my shoulder, so eventually this fails. It is also annoying. Two step authentication is not helpful because this is a trusted device8. So I and anyone else with the password get signed in automatically. Is there a way to ALWAYS require two step authentication on all devices?

This suggestion has been brought up before and it is incomprehensible to me why this has not been implemented by Arlo software developers:

A log of sign in, activity, deleted videos, which device with real time alerts of these activities as an option are a MUST! Why have these requests not been addressed?
Ability to recover deleted videos for a limited time is also essential in situations when videos were deleted by unauthorized sign in.

Not having these features renders these cameras useless. I will not buy any more of Arlo products until these features are implemented and will have to replace them with cameras that offer these options. I cannot imagine that it would require much effort to add these features. Why has it not been done? These are not cheap cameras! Thank you

Can't really answer your question, but there may be another way.

Have you tried changing the password and then using only the fingerprint sign in on the iOS ipad... keeping both the new pw and ipad pw in a secure place )

( making sure other finger prints accesses are deleted )

You could also use a different account on the shared devices (using "friend" access).  "Friends" can't delete videos.

If you are using a base or smarthub, you can also set up local storage.  That also can't be deleted (unless the storage device is reformatted).  That can be done from the web ui and app, but is a bit harder to find.
