I just got the Arlo pro lastnight and have been checking it out. The audio delay is looooong. How can I eliminate all these delays?
Base station is only 8 feet away , 5 feet up on a shelf.

Hi @Reginald4
Have you verified all your devices are updated to the latest firmware? I have attached a link here with the Firmware release Notes. The 1st step would be to reboot the base station & test again for the delay.

ShayneS (Arlo Moderator),
By now you clearly know there is a problem with the product based on the volume of complaints about audio (and live video) lag. Stop playing dumb and stop asking customers to reboot. You know it will not fix the problem. Go to engineering and escalate the problem. It is likely an issue with the server software. The delay between the time the servers are receiving the audio and transmitting it is too long. A firmware upgrade for the camera or base station will not fix it.
