Arlo Wireless recording time

Please help me understand or confirm that the Arlo wireless cameras will only pick up movement for 10 seconds?  If so then what is the use for these camera.  I am trying to detect motion of a tenant that might be stealing.  Can I extend the 10 seconds to 1 minute or ?

No, the 10 seconds is just the default... you have to edit the mode to make it record longer. It can be set to 2 mins or longer on certain models
