Arlo Pro wireless camera fast battery drain

So I've had my Arlo Pro system with 1 camera for about a month and I am constantly having issues with battery drain on the camera. At first it would last about a week and recently it would go from 100% to 0% in a day. This is based on maybe only 10 recordings a day. I have had the camera set up outside (about 50 feet from the base) and it has a strong signal. I then tried moving the camera inside about 5 feet from the base and it drained overnight without recording anything. I have tried to manually remove it from the system and re-add to get it to work at all but once again it drains quickly. And finally I have removed the battery and put it back in and even that does not seem to help out. The camera has the latest firmware so I'm not sure what other things I could try. Any suggestions?

The one thing you haven't mentioned is restarting the base. Otherwise, open a case here with support for a possible replacement.
