Arlo Pro will only charge with Arlo charger after update?

Plugged in my Arlo Pro camera to charge battery and it will only charge when I use the Arlo Charger?

It won't charge off of a Mac book pro or any of five chargers, including an iPad Pro charger, that I have.  It has to be the Arlo charger.  

I swear that ive used random chargers and cables  before.  The cam updated to 1.092.0.3_12290 right before this.

im going to have to store the Arlo charger in a lock box if it is the only one that will work?

Unlikely that you've been able to charge off other chargers before as the Arlo Pro charger charges the Arlo Pro cameras at 9V. Normal USB chargers only output 5V, which is not high enough

The Arlo PRO can ONLY charge the battery pack with a Qualcomm compatable type charger...

It needs the dual voltage supplied of 5v and 9 v.  5v can run the camera but the 9v is needed to charge the pack.

How common are 9v chargers?  Is there a source besides Arlo for a them?

Apparently the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge chargers are Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 compatible ie output 9V as needed as well though I haven't tested mine with my Arlo Pro yet

You could buy a battery pack with charger at Amazon ( in stock)

Or look for a Qualcomm charger there too
