I currently own a couple of original Arlo cameras and just purchased my first Arlo Pro. I'm running the Arlo Pro from the original Arlo base station. I purchased the Arlo Pro to see if it's worth the upgrade from the original Arlo cameras. In a side by side comparsion I noticed the original Arlo's have a better video resolution than the Arlo Pros. The Arlo Pro video quality doesn't seem to be as clear as the older Arlo versions. I like the Arlo Pro's audio but I'd hoped the video quality would be the same or if not better than the older Arlos.
Has anyone else done any side by side comparsions like this and experience the same results?
Below are URLs to both cameras. The front ground footage from the Arlo Pro isn’t a sharp as the older Arlos.

Most of it is the angle size of the lens...

Arlo has 110d, while the Pro has 130d

Okay, thanks.

I would think it would be the other way around. A lens that has more of a wide angle would be the clearest.

The wider the angle of view, the less detail per pixel. If you think of binoculars zooming into the subject so you can see the hair on an insect's butt vs. a wide angle view where you can see everything but everything is small you should get the idea.
