I am thinking your cameras are connected to your home wifi, correct? (no smarthub?)

Email hasn't been an option for quite a while now, so you must not have used that option.

These settings are part of a "rule" for each camera.  If you were connected to home wifi before, then the "rule" was part of the "armed " mode for the camera.

The new interface is organized differently.  Start by going into the camera settings and looking at the "default mode settings"  That is where you'll find recording length and motion sensivity.

The go to the "routines" page, and select the "modes" tab at the top.  If you press "Arm Away", you'll see the device rules for the cameras that are armed when the system is set to this mode via the dashboard.  You can edit those rules.  If you want to completely disarm a camera when it is in this mode, then delete the rule.

Similarly, you can modify the rules in "Arm Home".  By default "Standby" disarms all cameras, but you can add rules there if you want to.

Once set up, these function as presets, that let you quickly choose one of the 3 combinations of armed cameras from the dashboard.  If you just want to temporarily disarm an individual camera, then to the device page, select the camera settings, and turn it off - turning back on again when you want to rearm it.

I don't understand what you mean when you say that the alerts are missing.

  1. Can you post a screenshot?
  2. What mode did you put the system in?
  3. Did you try making a manual recording while livestreaming?

What I mean is that in the old app under modes (I think) I could turn on/off motion alerts to my phone for any given camera. I only had 1 camera set for a push notification of a motion alert. It is still working but the ability to turn it off/on has gone in the new app.

Each mode still has rules for the cameras, and you can modify the rules in all three of the modes.  What you can't do is create more modes, so you are limited to only the three.

The easiest way to manually disarm a single camera is to go into the device settings, press the settings wheel for a camera, and turn it off there.  You'll need to turn it on again before you livestream it.

Thanks for reply. I think I'm using the wrong terminology and am being misunderstood.

I'll try again.

I have 4 Pro cameras. One of them, labelled "Garage Interior ", sends an alert to my iOS phone every time it is triggered by motion.

In the old app, which I no longer have so cant be exact, it had a setting for each individual camera. It said something along the lines of:

When the camera is triggered by motion do you want to,

1/ Do nothing

2/ Send an alert to your phone

3/ Send an email

In the new app the Garage Interior camera is still sending alerts to my phone, as I want it to, but I cannot find any option to turn it off if needed or indeed turn phone alerts on for any other camera.

Hopefully thats a bit clearer for you!
