My camera doesn't start recording until I am half way to the front door. In live mode it sees me clearly and it will record me on the way out. The problem is that one of my cars is apparently out of range. Can I extend the range on the motion detection?

While the Pro has an improved PIR setup for detection, the max range for people is still only about 20ft from camera (+/-)

 

You can attempt to slowly increase the Sense level, ( 1 or 2 % at a time ), untill you start getting to many false triggers.
