I have installed an Arlo Pro wire free system that came with four Arlo Pro cameras. Overall it works just fine except one of the cameras never goes into record mode when there is motion. The camera is set to record on motion. I have run the motion set up test and verified that it detects motion (the amber LED on camera activates). I have adjusted the motion sensitivity to 95 from the default of 80 and still it is not recording. This camera works fine in LIVE mode. I am considering re-syncing it with the base. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Yeah, if think it would be useful to power cycle the baae, remove the camera from Settings, My Devices and resync.

gdeloura,

Are you using a custom mode or is it behaving this way when using the default "Armed" mode? It sounds like there could be an issue with the rules for this camera.

Did resyncing help?

I am using the default "Armed" mode. I have performed a restart on the base unit and then removed this camera from the system and performed a re-sync. Whenever I do this it begins to work correctly however in less than a day it will stop recording on motion. When I put it in the "Motion detect" mode it appears to be detecting motion properly (amber LED lights up). It goes into Live mode just fine. This camera is looking at the back yard and there is plenty of activity for it to trigger on. It is approximately 25 feet from the base unit. In fact, it is the closest camera to the base unit in the system. I have tried adjusting the sensitivity to 90 from the default of 80 but no effect. I don't think that I should be required to keep removing it from the system and re-syncing on a daily basis in order to get it to work.

Post a screenshot.  Maybe it's just a positioning issue.
