Arlo Pro camera: Can I mount near a window on an inside a movable garage door

I want to mount my camera so that it looks out my garage door window, and can see incoming cars and people. I thought I might use an Outdoor Security Mount (VMA1000). But not sure if I could rig it up so that the camera woudn't fall off when the door opened?? Has anyone done something like this? Thanks,

@jesserdoc,

The camera will not detect motion through glass, thus you will not get notifications. Best bet is to mount it above the garage door outside.

The only camera that will work thru glass is the Q camera...it uses pixel detection over PIR

I use mine right thru double pane andersen windows
