I searched online but I couldn't find any details how Arlo will work with the newly announced Echo Show.

Main questions:

- is the base station still needed if one has Echo Show?

- can one watch videos from Arlo Pro without going through the cloud?

- can Echo Show be the siren?

I'm sure others might have more questions

Not sure of the other questions, but i doubt very much the base won't be needed.

Arlo and Arlo Pro just plain are rocks without a router - base connection

Just add the skill and say "Alexa, show me the front door" and the Echo Show will start live streaming your camera. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on this but waiting to see others feedback.  Looks interesting.

Is Echo Show also voice, or just visual?  In the video, it drops in on the kid's room. If I want to tell Kid it's time for dinner, will Amazon Show relay that through the Arlo microphone?  (Or talk to whoever is at the frontdoor real time, as opposed to opening the Arlo app - which takes time).

I see the voice works from the Arlo to the Echo Show.

but how can I talk to the Arlo? is it possible? will it be possible?
