I have an old Arlo pro and recently added a camera that is brand new(meaning never used)but is also old as far as years. Yetserday I was able to sync and see both cameras in the app after syncing was done on my base station. Today 1 day later my residence lost power and for some reason the 2nd camera is no longer showing. I have synced it to the base station but my app for some reason is now also trying to sync it and it says it cannot find any devices. Yesterday that was not even an issue it just came right up, why today is the app asking to sync it? I would appreciate any help I can get. I am leery of restarting my router or the base station thinking I may lose my original camera also. I have never had the app ask to sync on my phone or computer before.

Check the camera battery first, if the system lost power for a while the camera would likely have kept calling the base and used up the battery.
The settings are held in the arlo account so power cycling the base should have been ok.
You can also manually sync the camera using the base top sync button, press it then press the camera top sync button.

I appreciate the response. It seems as though it syncs to the base station but when I go to the app it is trying to sync there also?? I do not understand what that is, I have never seen that before.. Also even more odd is that I do not see the video that was on the app yesterday, it disappeared also. But most importantly I would like it to show up again.

I had some activity at the house the other day that was a problem and have had the 2nd camera in its original package for a long time. I just had never pulled it out. Now there is suspicious activity I really need the 2nd camera.

Battery is fully charged and it shows it links to base just not showing up.

Sounds like the camera is not connecting and may need a firmware update. If you can go into the camera settings and check the firmware version from the device info. You can also check if update is available.

Can you describe the error if any you get on the devices dashboard? Post a screenshot.

These photos come up on the app when I have tried to sync to base station. I have never seen these before and it will not sync to anything.

I can not do it on my desk top either I get the same issue. Shows looking for your arlo device and then no arlo device found.

All updates on my camera seem to be current.

I appreciate any and all help.

Thank you

Problem has yet to be rectified...I have been speaking to ShayeS from ARLO and he is working quite competently so I would ask ARLO to check with your own people to see if the problem has been handled since you keep pumping out emails as to this matter.

Thank you
