Arlo Pro - Not detecting motion more than 10 ft out

The camera is not detecting motion more than 10 ft. out. I have tried everything that has been suggsted in these forums (ensure camera is mounted 8 ft etc etc). Just got off support chat and was suggested to change the positon of the camera, which is sort of unacceptable. I am including the image of my driveway. The camera fails to pick the car pulling into the driveway, anyone getting out of the car etc. and only captures a person moving towards the camera 6-10 ft out --- which sort of defeats the purpose. 

Thought to share on this medium, before returning the system.

You probably won't like hearing it again but you need to move the camera. The major issue is that motion is directly at the camera which no PIR sensor detects well. You can crank the sensitivity up to 100 but it may not make much difference. Read the FAQ here on best camera positioning and Google for how PIR sensors work.
