One of my cameras will not stay on when I put in a new battery. It was used on an outside patio under a roof and never got wet. But it seems to have a short. Can I send it in for repair for a reasonable charge or just scrap it? It is off warranty.

I tried four different charged batteries. The orange light came on and went out. I tried pairing and the blue light for pairing blinked a few times and went out. Maybe it is a pairing problem, though I did it the right way.
