Arlo Pro Camera Won't Sync & Very Warm

Arlo Pro Model VMC4030 won't sync and shell gets very warm. Tried new batteries that work in my other camera and nothing. Amber light blinks 3 times about every 20 seconds. Anything else I should try, or send for repair. It's about 2-3 yrs old.

have you tried it with no battery and just the ac adapter ?

Yes,and it still won't sync, though it didn't warm up. Blue light was flashing and went to rapid amber flash. The base station didn't see it and I was right next to it.

Well, it's been plugged in without the battery for abou an hou and does feel warm nowthough I don't think it's quite as bad as it was with the battery in it.

 I couldnt my three cameras to synch, nothing I tried worked so I connected the cameras to the base station via the USB charging cord and now they are synched without the USB. I didnt find this method in any writeup so Arlo please comment.
