Hi

Currently awaiting the release of Pro in the UK but considering connection options. I'm looking to get a 3 cam setup and due to range, one of them may need to connect to a wireless AP with the others to the main router. Will this work?

No. Arlo and Arlo Pro can only connect to a base station. Base stations can only connect via Ethernet cable. You will either need to place your base station centrally - you can use a range extender with ethernet port if you can't move your router - or you would need to consider 2 base stations, which has some pros and cons to the set up
