It depends on the exact definition of "low use" but I'd expect 3-5 months if recording and live viewing significantly less than 5 minutes total per day.  Signal strength between the camera and base will also have an effect - low signal causes the camera to work harder maintaining a signal.  The positioning of the base relative to the camera would be the cure.
