Arlo Pro Batter Will Not Hold A Charge

Battery will no longer charge.,device shows error saying that the charger is not an Arlo approved charger, but it’s the one that came with it new. Cameras are only 6-7 months old. How long is the warranty on the battery

Did the battery totally deplete? Is this an in-camera charge? If so you may need to insert it several times to get it to start to charge. The useful battery life should be longer than six or seven months with normal use. A good rule of thimb with Li-ion batteries is to charge them when they get to about 40 to 50%. They do not need to be totally depleted and sometimes are hard to start charging when they are.

It's possible that the camera, battery or charger is at fault. Don't leap to the battery without testing. Swap batteries between cameras and do the same with the charger. After some mixing and matching you'll be able to nail down the culprit. When you do, open a case with support here to invoke your warranty:
