How do firmware updates occur/function on the Arlo Pro VMB4000r3 base stations? Is there any way to check the base station for problems?

The firmware normally updates automatically overnight with no intervention needed. Occasionally you make see a notice for an update which clicking on th enotice should start the process. You can also go to Settings, My Devices, your devices, Device Info to see your firmware version as well as to manually start the process if an update is available.
