Hi

I have had some problems with getting my Pro 3 cameras to charge. I thought it might be the charger or the charger cable. But after checking the problem is in the contact points of the cover: After a while they do not work as good any more. What I have to do is to use a cover that charges ok and use that to charge all the cameras. I have already gotten one camera replaced on guaranty, and have several more coming. The cameras that have this trouble are used outside, the ones that are used inside are ok (so far at least).

Any similar experience to this? Is there any way to avoid this from happening? As it is now I am considering returning the hole setup.

Thanks in advance for any help on this!

It doesn't seem to be a widespread issue but I've had to occasionally wipe the cable and camera connections to get a proper connection for charging. YMMV.

Most of mine are on permanent charge but the two that aren’t are both terrible. Rubbish design. App is too slow to be able to work out when it’s got a good connection. Can’t rely on the lights to tell you.
I’ve seen people taping the charging cable to the battery itself. Old connector was far better. Poor design.
