I don't understand how a company like Arlo sells a product for exterior use but doesn't withstand the conditions. I live in Florida and have had nothing but problems
6 Months into my purchase i ran into my first problem. After one of our afternoon storms my camera stopped charging. I pull the camera from the housing, it was filled with water. Lucky for me it was under warranty.
9 Months after this incident, another afternoon storm. this time I loose 2 cameras, same exact issue. Open the housing, filled with water. This time out of warranty.
$600 in the garbage for less than 2 years of use.
Its sad that a company of this caliber doesn't stand behind their product.
So don't buy these if you live in South Florida because they are not water proof or weather proof at best.
