I brought my outside camera inside to charge it.  It continues to give me a message that the battery is too cold.  Outside temperature has been in the low 30s and low 40s the past 3 days.  I've had the camera inside for about an hour.  Is this normal?

When the battery is at aprox 32f , it will not charge...this is because it can cause possible damage to the cells.

Normal and should charge fine when warmed up

Thanks. I waited another hour and was able to get it to charge. I thought it needed to be below freezing to prevent charging. We have been close but not below.

The display in the Devices tab varies according to the exsact device in my experience. I have two cameras attached to solar panels but one will need well above 32F to start charging while the other will charge at pretty much at 32F. It appears to be a function of the specific camera.

I can see variances in each camera due to possible diffs in components

just say +/- 32F  🙂
