Arlo Batteries Are Draining Fast

Have had just a few weeks and keeps losing battery charge. Have been using battery saving video quality. Why?

A number of possibilities - signal strength and/or quality, distance, blockage (ductwork, mirrors, house construction, etc.), 2.4GHz interference, excessive recording and live viewing (<5 minutes per day is the spec), firmware not up to date, etc. Tell us more about your installation and usage.

I knew nothing about live viewing not greater than five minutes a day. That isn’t mentioned in the five-page manual. Where do I find all of the specs? My camera is mounted outside my garage, within range limit. How can I get the firmware update? I clicked on someone’s link to the update, but it just took me back to the community posting page.

Returned it. Got tired of recharging battery and of no support offered by Arlo outside of this wonderful community forum. Thank you.
