App not locating device

I have an android phone. I loaded the app, but cannot get past the "Discovering your device" Screen.  It is not finding our base or cameras.  My husband's phone (an iPhone) located it and is working just fine.  Cannot figure out why my phone is not recognizing it.  Any ideas?

Because he already has. Have him use Settings, Grant Access to your email account. Follow the directions emailed to you carefully. You don't add a new system, you just gain access to an existing one.
