Can you add an ARLO Pro to the standard Arlo system? Please send answer to anthonyafusaro@gmail.com. The Regular ARLO burns batteries ARLO PRO has a pulg in power source.

The answer to your question is yes. The cameras will work just fine with the original base. I am doing that.

Yes. Arlo HD, Arlo Pro, Arlo Pro 2 all connect to all base stations in the range. The only things you'll miss out on by not having the Pro /2 base are the USB backup function and the built in siren. Other functions like 2-way audio are a function of the cameras so you'll get those. The Arlo Pro is also significantly better with motion detection and there is less delay between motion and the start of recording along with the ability to be plugged in full time or to have a solar panel attached
