ARLO PRO wireless camera 8X digital zoom not working

Camera spec states 8X digital zoom. When zooming image, it stops at 3X. 

Why is it not functioning properly?

That is a known issue that occured  in one of the later updates....it appear to zoom only to 3 x or so.

 

Put in a trouble report in to Netgear support....
