Arlo Pro 6 Gen does not appear in the app

Hi. I am trying to add the Camera - Arlo Pro Gen 6 - using the app but this reference does not appeared in the app. I only can see until Arlo 4

Some camera models are not available in all regions. While subscriptions may be available, if the device has not yet launched in that region, the camera will not be available for onboarding. For this reason, we do not recommend purchasing cameras from a country in which they are not available and trying to use them in other regions.

Did you double-check that you have the most recent app?

 

@BrookeN , @ShayneS , @JamesC - can you check on whether the camera is supported in Mexico?  Arlo does offer subscriptions there, so it's odd that the app isn't showing it.

Hello community,

 

I’m posting to confirm whether this is a regional availability limitation or if there is any workaround.

 

Context:

 

  • Country / Region: Mexico

  • Current devices working correctly:

     

    • Arlo Essential (VMC3070) 

    • Arlo Pro 2

       

  • Mobile OS:

     

    • iOS (latest version)

       

    • Arlo app:

       

      • Latest version available in Mexico App Store

         

  • Network: Stable Wi-Fi, no issues adding supported devices

     

    Issue:

    I’m trying to add an Arlo Pro Security Camera (6th Gen – 2025 release, model VMC4070).

     

    • When scanning the QR code, the app shows:

      “This device isn’t available in your region. We’re expanding quickly and hope to reach your area soon.”
    • When adding a device manually in the app:

       

      • The newest Pro model available is Arlo Pro 4

      • Pro 6 does not appear at all

         

 

 

The camera was purchased through Amazon Mexico, but I understand it may be fulfilled via Amazon US distribution.


Additional note:

It would be unfortunate to have to return this product (in 2-pack), especially since other Arlo models work correctly in Mexico and the camera was purchased through Amazon Mexico. Before proceeding with a return, I’d like to confirm whether this is a temporary regional restriction or a currently unsupported model in Mexico.

 

Question for the community / moderators:

 

  1. Is VMC4070 (Arlo Pro 6th Gen) currently region-locked or not officially supported in Mexico?

  2. If so, is there any ETA for availability in Mexico?

  3. Does subscribing to an Arlo Secure plan change device availability (or is this strictly a regional catalog limitation)?

     

    I’m asking mainly to confirm this in writing, since supported models (Essential, Pro 2) work correctly on the same account.

     

    Thank you in advance for any confirmation or official clarification.
