Will usb extender work on Arlo pro 5s?

Hi everyone, I just purchased 6 Arlo pro 5s from amazon. The charging cables come with it is very short. I am wondering if I can use some usb extender with it instead of buying 6 expensive Arlo charging cables .or is there any alternative solution with it ? I happened to purchased 6 Arlo camera on amazon (50% off) 2 weeks before price drop (64% off), which cost me extra $130. Looking for ways to save some money on those cables

Cables are relatively cheap but a quality extension cable should work fine. Cheap ones use thinner wires which can create their own issues. Keep the length as short as possible, too.

It is a proprietary cable with the magnetic connector, and Arlo only sells the 8 foot length you already have for indoor use. The only other option from Arlo is to get the 25' outdoor cable+charger - which is fully integrated, so the cable does not detach from the charger. Wasserstein sells a 25' outdoor cable that is not integrated with their charger, so you could also try that. I've never tried any Wasserstein products, so this is just an FYI and not a recommendation. While an extension cable might work, I don't recommend that if you want to use the cameras outdoors.
