Hi,
I reside in South Africa and purchased 4 of the Pro 5S 2K cameras. Unfortunately the Arlo Secure app that we download here does not support the Pro 5S 2K cameras yet (it has almost been two years now). I have read through a couple of responses from similar users having the same issue and the response we got from Superusers are to use a foreign VPN from a country that does support this product.
Now I have done exactly that and established a foreign VPN account in New Zealand and was very happy when I connected to playstore via the VPN to see the Pro 5S 2K option to download.
Now I have done all of that, I now wanted to connect the cameras to my Android phone but it still does not see the cameras. What am I doing wrong and / or what else can I do to get this working please, it has cost me an arm and a leg for this product and why this is till not available in South Africa is very frustrating to say the least.
Would gladly appreciate and feedback and assistance / guidance please 🙂

You will want to use the VPN to create a new account (you can use your old one if you completely remove it via Settings, Privacy Center and then recreate it), set up the camera or the whole system and use a credit card from that same country as the VPN server. Once all that is done, you won't need the VPN unless something changes, such as the credit card.
