Snapshot rather than recording

I have 3 Pro 5 cameras. All were working fine until the outage last week. Since then one of the cameras keeps taking snapshots rather than recording video. Seems to be at night when it’s dark. Others cameras working okay. Anyone any ideas

It's in a low power mode, so try charging it.

What about when they were charged to 100% and still stuck in snapshot? 

2 x Arlo Essential.

Have you checked routines ~ modes to make sure that take video is toggled on?

I have the same problem with one camera taking snapshots after being in low power. Checked routines and video is toggled on now and still not working.

I did end up fixing this. I believe I had to reset the entire system and maybe resync the camera. I can’t recall at all.

I had the same issue after it went dead for not charging it on time. I went to the Arlo dashboard, clicked on the device then clicked on “restart” at the bottom in red. That fixed it for me 🤗 Hope yours get fixed soon, it was annoying me so bad to only see the snapshots.

Thanks - I did try that as a last resort and it worked! it was easy to do via the app.
