With the Arlo Home Security Packages, does the home owner have to manually alert the fire department or emergency services or will the 24/7 surveillance team call those services on their own?

Hi @magnificat 

In addition to manual requests, the emergency agent will call the appropriate Emergency responder for auto alarms (eg. door - police, motion - police, smoke/CO alarm listening - fire, etc).
