I have three Pro 5S 2K cameras.  One of my cameras recently starting giving us issues with signal.  When I checked my router it looks like the camera in question is only connecting to the 2.4ghz network and not using the 5ghz.  It also only seems to work well when it's close to the router.   The other cameras are working fine but are further away.

I tried a factory reset on the camera and it only works if it's within 10 feet of the router.   Could the wireless chip inside be going bad?

Thanks

Could be faulty. The 2.4GHz band has a longer range than the 5GHz band so that may be the reason it connects to the lower frequency. You can try swapping cameras around to see if that determines it's the camera or location that is the issue.

If you need, use the app to go to Settings, Support and choose your camera. Scroll down to Contacts to see what official support may offer, including a possible RMA.
