I’ve bought VMA1000B-10000S and VMA1001-11100S mounts for my pro 5s which both said they fit the camera but they do not. The screws on the mounts are too small for the nut and stuff that’s on the camera. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Which mounts actually fit this camera. I’ve already spent $60 and nothing works

As you found you can't do that.
You can get a new housing:

Ths Pro 5s has a standard screw socket, so these should fit. The Ultra, Pro 3 and Pro 4 and Pro 5s cameras share have the same housing. While I don't use these mounts on my Pro 5s, I do use the VMB1001 mount with one of my Ultras.
So I am puzzled by what you are saying. Have you tried removing the camera body from the housing, and then see if you can screw the housing into the mount?

Yes I have taken the camera body out of the housing and tried but the nut on the inside of the housing that the mount is supposed to screw into is too big

Can you post a picture of the back of the housing?

@Coltonf93 - I am thinking that the nut might have come loose from your camera housing.
Here's a photo of one of my housings:

Yeah my housing doesn’t look like that. The nut goes inside the housing around the hole and screws onto the treads that are on the ball in the picture

It's not supposed to be that way.
There is a cylindrical nut inside the housing that is not supposed to be removed. The screw on the mount is screwed into that nut. There is a sleeve around that screw on the mount - that is used to make sure the screw is tightly fastened.
I am wondering if your Pro 5s was shipped with the total security mount housing. That looks like this:
