Pro 5s 2k not appearing in app for set up

I will be using them in mexico, I am not able to connect them because the type of camera is not shown in the app. Is it because of the location? My phone area code is from the us. Does that have anything to do with it?

Could be.  Was the account created in Mexico?  If it was, you'll need to create a new one in the US (or using a VPN that terminates in the US).  I think you will also need a US payment method to get a subscription.

 

Note you will need a subscription to get cloud recording.  None of the currently sold cameras have the 7-day free storage that the legacy cameras have.
