Can Pro 5 connect to vmb4000

I have a VMB4000 base station. If I get new cameras, the pro 5s 2k, can those hook up to my base station? And if they do, will they record without me purchasing the subscription.

No, only the pro2 and earlier cameras had the 7days free cloud storage.

 

You would need to have a arlo hub 4540/5000 to be able to access local storage.
