Pro 5 Ramdom Shutdowns

Has anyone else had an issue with the Pro 5 randomly just going offline?   I purchased a Pro 5 back in June, mounted it outside and connected it to a solar charger.  It seemed to work great until about the middle of October, when it started randomly just going offline.  I first suspected the solar charge but that was not the issue.  Randomly over the last couple of months the camera will just go offline.  If I open the camera up and reseat the battery it will immediately start working again.  It appears that if the temperature outside varies move than 30 degrees the camera just shuts down.  I decided that I would just move the camera inside my garage, but over the last 2 weeks it has gone offline twice while connected directly to an electric outlet.

 

The camera went offline again last night and when I pulled the battery and then put it back in, it came back online immediately.  When I checked the app, the camera battery was at 100%.  This $200 camera is basically useless...  I have five Pro 4 cameras and they work fine. 

 

Anyone else having issues with the Pro 5?

Please reach out to support. You get there by going in the support area of the app (not my.arlo.com), and selecting a camera in a subscription plan. Scroll down to the contact section, and you will see an option for phone support. It is available between 6 am and 6 pm US pacific time.
