Pro 5 2K nothing shows up in Feed

Hi There

We brought the Pro 5 series (4 cameras, 4 Solar Panels and the Hub)

No subscription

One day in the App the Feed was showing notifications, snapshots etc.

Next day nothing, just the Arm Away activated etc. This has been going on since about May.

Version (4.16.1_28692)

Android

SmartHub: VMB4540r3 - We have a usb plugged in and this works fine

Every time I have come onto support there is a message saying

"Some customers in Australia and New Zealand regions may be experiencing problems with live streaming and motion recordings. We are working to resolve this issue" So is this still and issue??

I am from NZ and these cameras were not cheap. Well over $1,000 dollars, so tempted to take them back.

Several more queries.

1: If we disconnect and then reconnect all cameras and the smarthub will this fix the issue? 

2: If we subscribe will this allow the feed to start feeding - Showing snapshots etc?

 

Please be gentle as I am new to security cameras.

Hello Mel

 

It's likely that the free trial has expired, but you'd also need to check that you have rules in place to record.

 

Assuming that you have rules in place to record, from now on, to access your recordings if you have them enabled to record to local storage, you need to go to Devices > SmartHub > SmartHub > Storage Settings. The reason why it's not as easy to access them is because Arlo wants you to buy a subscription.
