Fees not saving all recordings

I have an Arlo Base Station that should allow me to record 6 cameras to the cloud for a short amount of time. I have 4 Pro5s cameras hooked and two Arlo Pro2 cameras. Until a few weeks ago all Cameras recorded to the feed, now only the Arlo Pro2 cameras record. What did Arlo change?

Did your trial subscriptions expire?
The free storage is associated with cameras, not the base. The Pro 2 models were sold with 7-day free cloud storage, but the Pro 5s were not. (Arlo stopped offering free cloud storage with new models back in 2018. All currently sold cameras require a subscription for that feature).

I am in same situation. The ad said it works with the base, but now it will require regular payment. What a bunch of bull**bleep**. They just lost my future business.

I have the same problem. I once had 4 Arlo Pro cameras and all 4 were connected to the base. I could see from the app on my iphone any and all movements and the movements would be recorded. Now, I purchased 2 new Arlo 5S 2k cameras to replace the older cameras. For the 1st week, probably the trial period, these 2 new cameras recorded any movement and I could see them via the app on my phone. Now I cannot monitor the movement on my phone which defeats the purpose of being a security camera allowing the user to monitor their home while I am away.
It sounds like I need a plan to once again see all movements on the new 5S cameras on the app? The old cameras still provide me the recordings on the app but the 2 new cameras DO NOT.
I did find a way to record the movement of these 2 new cameras. I plugged in a flash drive to the base and turned on the option to record locally. All recordings are saved to this flash drive for just the 2 new cameras but again, this doesn't give me any notification on my phone when I am away.
Is there a way to push these saved recordings on this flash drive to the app on my iphone? If not, i will go back to using the older cameras.......

Correct. Arlo stopped offering free cloud storage on new camera models back in 2018. All currently sold cameras (including the Pro 5s) require a subscription to get any cloud storage.

The two smarthubs (VMB4540 and VMB5000) support playback in the app (with several limitations). But the VMB4000 and VMB4500 hubs do not. The only way to see the recordings on the older bases is to eject the storage and connect it to a PC.
