I do not have a subscription plan, I have a smart base with a USB storage drive, and 4 Pro2 cameras that have always recorded to the Library when there is motion. I just added a Pro4 camera, and it records to the USB storage drive on the base, but nothing shows in the library. The other cameras still show up though. in the settings for the Pro4, is states that "video clips or snapshots will be stored in the USB device" How do I change that to Library? the camera is useless for security if I can not see the event. the product sales literature say nothing about needed a subscription to use, I assume it should be the same as my Pro2's

Any camera newer than the Pro 2 requires a subscription for cloud recordings and has been true since 2018. The free 7 day plan is only for the Pro 2 and older legacy cameras. You can purchase a single camera plan for the Pro 4 so all cameras have cloud recordings.

At the following link (as well as some verbiage on the box) there's an included TRIAL subscription when installing. Once that trial expires, note the fine print at the bottom indicating a subscription is needed:

"When your trial expires, you will need to renew the subscription to continue 2K cloud recording. For more information on Arlo subscription plans, visit: www.arlo.com/secure."
