I'm trying to grant access to a friend, so they can see my camera too. The invite goes fine, but then they're asked to subscribe monthly. I can't share my camera access as part of my existing subscription? Can't find answers on arlo site.

Normally the owner sends a invite to the friend via the grant access option in their account.

the friend accepts the invite when they receive the email from their pc via the web browser which they either create a new account or login to their existing account.

the owner should see the invite status change from pending to listing under granted.

note permissions need to also be set for required levels.

No subscription is required for the friend, also if using direct storage access recordings to the base station the will only be able to see your cloud storage.

This sounds like the invite didn't complete properly.   Does it still show up as pending from your account?

As @Dannybear says, this is best done on a PC/Mac

  1. clicking on create account in the email
  2. waiting for the browser to open up to my.arlo.com
  3. log into to the existing account.

For some reason, it tends to fail with the app.
