I knew this issue was around a few years but thought it would have been fixed by now. I recently setup a computer used for home automation only (cameras & smartthings). Running win10 22H2 with a 24" touch screen, using Edge browser. Since I started viewing arlo videos on this computer regularly, I noticed that the browser trust feature makes me re-trust the browser every couple of days. Since this computer only does cameras and smartthings I don't have it clearing cookies or anything like that. I thought the trust was supposed to last 14 days. How do I get it to last 14 days?

Do you shutdown the pc or hibernate?

FWIW, I don't close my browser and use sleep/hibernate for the computer. That helps prevent more frequent 2FA prompts.

I do not hibernate or shutdown this computer. The monitor turns off after 1 hour. However, I forgot to mention I was running the website as an app. Not sure if chrome has this but in Edge you can install a website as an app which puts shortcuts on desktop and runs the website in its own full screen window independent of the actual Edge browser.

I have removed that and am now just running the normal website in the normal browser mode.

Did the trust today, I'll keep an eye on it.

Gave it a week, no shutdowns, no reboots, no sleep, no hibernate, running the arlo website in normal edge browser mode, didn't close the browser window or use the browser for anything else. In the past week had to re-trust twice. I get about 2-3 days before I have to trust again. Amazing their mfa solution simply does not work.

Arlo should look into using Duo as their mfa solution. Works flawlessly and is an industry standard in mfa solutions.
