app can't find camera

I made a huge mistake of deleting a camera off my account. I have a PRO 4 that I FINALLY got to read the QR code! NOW....the app can't find the camera. I purchased the PRO 4 a year ago. It does not require a hub. I did a factory reset and nothing seems to be working. When I hear the chime the camera blinks blue for a while then stops. It eventually turns amber. I try to connect the cord in this process but nothing seems to be working. As soon as I plug the camera in the blinking light turns solid blue. It can't be the batteries themselves because one is brand new. The camera gets power only when corded it seems.
Can anyone help? i am ready to junk this camera. I would never buy ARLO again. Totally frustrated after trying all the online tips.
