I'm planning to exchange my Arlo Pro 4's for Arlo Essentials (I'd like something that works with Firefox/Chrome, which Pro 4 doesn't seem to).
Question: Do videos get stored on the Arlo Pro 4 camera? If so, is there a way to delete all those videos before exchanging/selling the cameras to someone?

No, the camera has no internal storage. Just remove it from your account.

If your web browser doesn’t have hardware acceleration available and enabled it may not improve your situation.

Yes. If Chrome won't play the recordings, you either need a PC with HEVC acceleration, or you need to get a 1080p camera (which uses the older AVC compression).
The workaround is to download the recording, and play it with VLC (or a similar media player that has an HEVC software decoder built in).
