Ever since Arlo forced the trial subscription and ended, I no longer get updates on my feed or access to my local storage that I got before the trial.
Using VMB4540r3 base and pro 4 cameras
- Restarting base/cameras
- unplugging/plugging usb hard drive
- checked base as record locally
- confirmed still have storage space
- overwrite automatically checked
- camera settings are armed to record motion
Get a message that "There was an error obtaining your library. Arlo team is working on the issue."
Waited 3 hours on chat, just to get dropped and saying that since my trial has ended I am not able to get live support.
Anyone know how to fix the issue? Pretty annoying that I can no longer click the camera and download local videos by timestamp, but cannot even access them via the hub anymore.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That often resolves this issue.
Also, make sure the phone is connected to your home wifi. Once that is working, move on to remove access.

Hello!
After the Arlo trial ends, cloud features are disabled, and local storage often stops showing up until settings are adjusted. To fix this, make sure Direct Storage Access is enabled in the app, confirm your base station and cameras are on the latest firmware, and re‑format the USB drive if needed. You’ll only be able to view recordings while on the same Wi‑Fi network unless you resubscribe, but you can still access files directly from the USB drive on a computer.
