The upgrade notification popped up, made it sound like any other wonderful thing to do, but I'm SO disappointed and wish I would have never tapped that button and given permission. 😔
And it's just the everyday simple things, that yes, I was used to, but are just now, irritating.
For instance, swiping from video to video. Why should this be so difficult? In most cases, I skip over some, and have to go back to the original "list", and start over. And that's going through and finding the correct "time" where you left off. So if you're looking for something specific, it's time consuming and well...hard to do.
Trying to go to another day or another week, is worse. I realize you can go to the "week" calendar, but finding what you may be looking for in the past is not like the "past".
Another irritating thing I find is scrolling through my videos. Either my finger is "off", or it's this new upgrade. It's not scrolling friendly, it takes a couple tries, or skips to the next videos, and there isn't a way of seeing this, unless you get out and start over.
Which leads me to the next issue. When watching the video, if I want to zoom in while watching, this is nearly next to impossible. It will take some doing. It will also take me to the next screen instead of zooming in to what I want to zoom in on.
Also...when watching videos, and this is all since upgrade, (I just can't believe how bad all this got), but the videos are "live looking". They go in seconds(?). It's hard to explain, but people, animals, etc. stop, then start, stop then start. 🤦🏼♀️
Cameras aren't picking up "things" as well. Have a doorbell camera, but also have a camera above this area. What the doorbell picks up, the "above" camera will not "catch" at all, which it clearly should. I see the light go off, (the light from camera above on the doorbell camera), but the above camera doesn't catch "it".
Everything has changed since the upgrade, and this is from day one. I pay yearly, (also a price increase), and I am very disappointed.
I SO wish I didn't get the upgrade, or I SO wish Arlo could reverse it.
Does anyone have any of these issues? I can't believe it could only be just me?

No, this didn't really answer or help my issues. With the upgrade, I'm still having trouble with the videos not coming through as consistent. They are still stopping and starting through the viewing of each individual video, and some even miss parts and go from (I.E.), one part of the yard, immediately to the next. (Makes checking on my dogs difficult). Also, swiping from one video to next is frustrating. Takes either multiple swipes or tries, or goes to the next couple of videos. Also, "zooming in". Next to impossible. Used to be so easy. Now is so difficult and sometimes, most times, takes me to the next video when trying to zoom in too far over to one side. Very frustrated still.
Am I doing anything wrong? Is there ANYTHING I can do to fix this or on your end? I never had an issue with Arlo before this upgrade, I was happy with it. But all this started on day one of upgrade.
